So I'm a first time mum and my dd is 5 weeks old on Tuesday, and for the past 2/3 days she's been wanting a feed constantly, she'll finish a four ounce bottle, and still root for more, so we give her more, she's on gaviscon for reflux, and hasn't been pooping properly, so has been put on lactoloose, is it normal for her to want a feed straight after each feed? Especially since she's consuming such large quantities and nothing is coming out? Sorry if I've not posted in the right area, I'm new to this website.

Ahh - the growth spurts. Get used to them, DD is 3 and they're still surprising us (dimwits!)

The wonderweeks website is good. Alternatively chalk any stuff like this up to a growth spurt - it's usually right!

congrats on your DD

That explains it then, feeling rather silly but had to be sure, thank you
