Cotbed bars advice

Hi

When do I know it's right to take the bars off the cotbed, my DD has just given me heart failure by almost climbing out - I have a video monitor so watch her when she's awake but she's a terrible sleeper so I know it will be a nightmare as soon as we do - she can roam around her cot for over an hour sometimes so I dread to think what would happen if she could get out. Please help

Is she in a grow bag? That can buy you a little more time.

How old is she?
How 'nearly' was she to climbing out?

You can always put a mattress or something on the floor in front of her cot if you're not ready to go 'bar less'

Oh I presume the base is as low as you can get it?

She's 20 months - when I say almost she had her leg completely over like she was straddling it almost

The bed is on its lowest possible setting
