If so how are you managing your DC expectations??

No experience personally as our only child is adopted, no BC, but repost on the adoption board maybe as there are a few people hang out there with BC and adopted children.

This is quite a frequent question on the adoption board and there are lots of regular posters there in this position. If I were you I'd post there for experienced advice. I have 2dsc and an an adopted ds. It helped that my dsc were substantially older than ds when he was placed.
