Is there any need for siblings day?

Have 4 brothers and sisters from broken families and now have one child of my own and no plans for any more. This is not a day for me I'm afraid!

I don't think it's compulsory.

I just heard about it this year because my facebook wall exploded with it. I think it's kinda pointless, and I didn't get a facebook message from my brother so he probably feels the same way, lol.
