Flash spray in baby bath

I don't usually use Flash bleach in the baby bath firstly. However, yesterday the plug was getting gammy so I sprayed the tub liberally and left it to work. I intended to swill it out thoroughly, but forgot and today I've just given lo a bath without having swilled it the day before. Do you think she'll have any problems?? Shall I just keep an eye on her??

I would phone your doctor and ask them about it or if you can't wait until morning then phone 111 and speak to an out of hours doctor. If they think you need to they will ask you to come up to the hospital for an appointment. I wpold think your baby will be ok as long as she/he didn't get too much water in her their mouth, better to be safe than sorry though.

They will be fine. The worst that might happen is a bit of a skin reaction/rash. Try not to panic.

It was yesterday and lo has been fine. I actually read that some people purposely put bleach in babies baths to help eczema. .... Don't think I'll be doing that!

I think the bleach content is pretty low so shouldn't cause any problems. Next time you go shopping, pick up some Dettol Power & Pure. It contains hydrogen peroxide bleach rather than the more dangerous sodium hypoclorite. I use it on everything and I love the super clean (but not strong) smell.
