I have always had abnormal bleeding...so to have conceived naturally was amazing. Abnormal heavy bleeding returned after labour & lasted 12 months. Finally got it under some sort of control but would now love another baby....but as soon as I stopped taking the pill...bleeding returns & is horrific. The consultants & doctors have all advised (even when DS was 10wks old) that I have 'permanent procedures' to ensure I don't suffer anymore...but it rules out any babies. Am I being selfish to keep trying to get this condition under control so I can have another baby...or do I just count my lucky stars I have my amazing DS?

If your want for another baby outweighs the pain etc of the bleeding, then not selfish at all - but only you know that.
Which is totally unhelpful I know, but its such a personal thing

That's what makes it so hard because I would love another baby & the consultancies say that 'health-wise' I am better pregnant! But it's getting the bleeding under control long enough to ovulate..etc...etc. I shouldn't be moaning as I do have a wonderful DS...but I would love him to have a sibling. Just hope this course of medication works & gets it under some sort of control.

You count your lucky stars that you have your DS and wish upon those same stars for your next DC!

Despite the circumstances, you've already once conceived naturally. With the help of fertility drugs, you surely have a good chance of getting pg again. Try to relax, let things happen. I sincerely hope that you get pregnant again very soon x
