The One and Only Tea Room - Now Hanging in Babylon

Well folks, here we are, transported through time and space to the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.

Golden couches and the distressed chintz sofa are arranged on a terrace overlooking the Euphrates and, as we recline on the exquisitely-soft cushions eating peeled grapes, we can enjoy the warm fragrance of the gardens' many exotic blooms. The garden is tended by the indefatigable Mellors, with occasional help from the bishops, rabbis and any passing world leaders. Somewhere behind the terrace there is an aga and a priest's hole, with optional massage table.

Please come and join us for a celebratory drink and conversation ranging from the profound to the profoundly silly.

Maud, yup. Especially since this tea room does serve a bloomin' good purpose in bringing some people together and welcoming allcomers, so it is serving the community in its own way, as are so many other threads.

I need to be told off. Went offline, thought "oh this bathroom needs a scrub" and cleaned it. Then put the heavy rubbish out. I think I'm safer online....arrghh I need a brain that has a clue.

(It's the only place where I can have a good cup bucket of tea, since the milk here can both be non-dairy and taste right.... I am definitely suffering from tea withdrawal symptoms :( )

Hi gang, can I have some of that ? Just got back from a photo shoot and I am knackered!

MN has been a bit odd lately but I mostly ignore it and stay here and at 40 Towers. It goes a bit odd and then goes back to not odd on a fairly regular basis. And I do think some people are just words on a screen and others are my friends. You lot count as friends.

I really should drag myself to bed. Video editing in the morning. yawn
