Any chance of getting a place in a nursery in Richmond/ Sheen/ Barnes when not on a waiting list yet?
Somehow I realised too late how the school/ nursery system works here and how tricky it is to get a place at a nursery... We thought about moving to Barnes/ Sheen/ Richmond but now I realised that most primary schools relatively close to public transport are heavily oversubscribed and assume it's the same for nurseries. One the one side I'd love to work partime (I'm a teacher myself), on the other side our home language is not English and am keen to send DD1 (who will be 3 in Oct) to nursery to learn English properly before she goes to big school. DD2 is only a couple of months old, so I'm not working at the moment but would rather start sooner than later... Advice would be appreciated!
