It's good, right? She goes at least 7:30-5ish, so long days (I am a single parent with a commute from hell, before anyone judges me). For the first time in her childcare career (one good CM 13m-23m and one great tiny nursery 23m-32m), they have breakfast at 8:30, lunch at 11:00 and cooked afternoon tea (!!!) at 15:30. She has eated all sorts of things she doesn't eat at home and she thinks they are all great. EGs of things she won't eat when I make them, vegetable soups, fish pie, etc.
I am SO proud of her and so unsure about myself. I used to consider myself a good cook yet at home there are requests for pasta and pesto and fishfingers or cheesy potato bake.
I am SO glad that the nursery is engaging her on all fronts, not just food, but feeling very inadequate especially about the food. I am a good cook. She eats what I eat, varied and balanced home cooked food, with a bit of fishfingers etc, as I see it does no harm. Is it a case of relax and enjoy???? How?????
