Waterways Nursery Oxford - nowhere dark to sleep

Left things rather late and now struggling to find/decide on nursery for DS1 9 months starting June. Got a good feeling about Waterways (kidsunlimited) in Oxford but have been having second thoughts since I got home from visit. Would welcome any advice from anyone who has experience of it. (My other choice is Turbo Teds if that puts things in perspective)

DS is a notoriously bad sleeper and they only have cots/mats which they have set out in the main rooms amongst the general noise of the day and with no low light levels. Can't see DS even contemplating sleep if there's that much going on around him. They said that children adapt when they go to nursery and there are other children around them sleeping etc...Do you have experience of this?

but if the children are sleeping they will probably turn the lights off/ down
if he other children can manage to sleep there I am sure yours will
and yes, children do adapt and they will sleep when tired
i work in a nursery so have first hand experience of this

Is there no separate sleep room even for babies? I think it's fine for 1-2 year olds to sleep on mats in the main room, as generally they will all sleep together after lunch so the room will be dark and quiet. But babies will often sleep at irregular times and 2 or 3 times a day, so they need a separate sleep room.

Have you looked at the Nursery within Oxford College of FE in Oxpens Rd? Its not far from Turbo Teds and it used to have a quiet area for sleeping! Ring the college and check its still open though I havent been there for 14 years
