I wouldn’t recommend Kids Planet Nursery following their takeover. I had ongoing issues with funding and billing, including stretched hours not being applied, unexpected large invoices, and my daughter being registered for extra time without my agreement. Things only started to change after I involved the council, who are now investigating.
My daughter is now at a local, non-franchise nursery where her funded hours are stretched properly and I’ve had no issues or surprise bills, which really highlights the difference.
I do want to say the staff were genuinely lovely and amazing with my daughter — this isn’t about them. Unfortunately, the management and billing side caused a lot of unnecessary stress and felt very money-focused.
