Anyone been overcharged especially by Asquith Court?

Am fuming about this but will try to keep it brief. Ds's nursery, part of the Asquith Court chain, has been overcharging me ever since he started - nearly a year now. They have failed to credit childcare vouchers to my account and have been deducting the full monthly charge on direct debit! Currently owed over £1,000.

Complete failure to deal with this when I drew it to their attention - ds's nursery staff are helpful but appear to be battling an appalling HQ which can't be bothered to sort this out.

I know it has also affected at least one other parent and wonder if anyone else out there has any experience of nurseries overcharging? And what happened?

Hmmm! DS went to an AC nursery for a while when he was a baby, and then for 6 weeks at the beginning of this year. When he first went, the food being offered to the older children was really good - home cooked, good nutruitious balanced diet. When we took him back this year, I was horrified, and immediately asked about it. the manager explained that they had been obliged to go on to a new fixed contract with a supplier. I wonder if that is an HQ decision? Because previously I used to see the delivery vans from v reputable local greengrocers and butchers etc.
The food was non-stop stodge - chips WITH hoops! Awful-looking sausage rolls, repetitive food for lunch and snack, etc. We took DS out for reasons over and above the food. But i gather it all depends on the individual nursery and the way it is managed.

Sorry honeypot01. Showing my age But I'm interested in this thread as DH and I own two day nurseries and our DS2 went to an AC nursery for a year a few years ago.
