FTM and just getting my head around nursery options.
Near me there are a couple of term time only nurseries and one year round nursery.
The term time ones are half the price of All year.

What do other parents do if they font work in education if bubs goes to term time only?
(I am aware we will have this issue for years to come! )

As with PP the only term time nurseries around here are those attached to primary schools.

Around 1/3 of the PVI Nurseries in our authorities are term-time only. That's not including and school Nursery classes or stand alone Nursery schools.

Then I suspect half of the places within the other 2/3 of the Nurseries are term time only places.

As a teacher I searched for a term time only nursery when my daughter was little! Thought I would have needed longer than 9-3 obviously. I couldn’t find any other than the ones for 3+, usually offering 9-3. So I used a childminder who offered term time only instead.

Obviously 50+ weeks per year for 10+ hours a day costs twice what 39 weeks per year for 6 hours a day costs, it’s twice the hours! If you for for term time only 9-3 you’ll need to pay for additional childcare before 9 and after 3 (childminder maybe?) and for 13 weeks of school holiday, or use your holiday/buy extra holiday/cut your hours, all of which also cost money.

We used a childminder when mine were in a term time nursery. I worked in schools so needed before and after school care as it took time to get to and from work.

During the holidays spaces with the CM were filled with kids whose parents didn’t work term time.
