Should I stay with my 5 month old for her nursery settling in session?

I did with my other as she was older and had seperation anxiety but my youngest is only 5 months old and I don’t think she would even mind being handed over and me leaving but then I feel like I should stay, what do people think?

I haven't with either of mine but they've been a fair bit older (12mo and 18mo due to Covid). I don't think it's usual for parents to stay during our nursery settling sessions generally. What have nursery advised? How long are the sessions?

If you think she wouldn't mind being handed over then I'd probably just do that.

If she will probably hand over easily, I would do that. I think staying when they would usually go easily can sometimes make it more difficult for you all.
Mine handed over easily but nursery requested I wait in another room for a short time just in case. If everything is fine then just leave.
