New childcare not accepting tax free childcare

Our lovely nursery and before and after school club closed recently, and we have just started a mish mash patchwork of settings to cover the week.
Only one place accepts the tax free childcare, which is annoying as it makes a big difference to the costs but also we have quite a bit of money still in there!

Have you ever persuaded a setting to start using it when previously they hadn't? Are there any downsides for them?

The only down side I had as a childminder was the delay every single bank holiday being paid via the vouchers / tax free especially over the Christmas break nothing was processed between the Christmas and new year period.

Thanks @Apple40 that's useful to know. Was it otherwise easy to set up?

As a childminder I don’t remember tax free childcare being difficult to set up from my end, but the amount of times I’ve been paid late through the system is ridiculous. Unfortunately as a setting, I would have no way of knowing if that was the systems error or the parents, but knowing that some parents managed to make it work correctly every time and some Had a problem every other month, leads me to think it was user error. Getting The payment date wrong, telling me that it would take 48 hours to clear payments, Getting confused as to how much money they needed to add to their account to get me the right amount. So frustrating when it makes my pay late.
I can understand why some settings will only accept straight Forward bank transfers for payment if they have had bad payers in the past.
