Tax free child - I am eligible but says I'm entitled to £0

So I signed up for the tax free childcare account. Everything was fine said I was eligible. Got my nursery invoice through, worked out 20% and paid that in. Went into my childcare account and it says I can get a maximum government top up of £0. And in the government top up column it's just £0.

Just wondered has this happened to anyone else? Does it take a while for it to go in?have spoke to tax free childcare helpline give it 24 hours and ring back. It has been 24 hours since I payed it in and nothing yet. Will ring tomorrow just wondered if this has happened to anyone else

Can you give us more information about your circumstances? Do you meet all the criteria and are eligible?

@Shapesorted yes I am eligible. When I signed up in my secure messages it says I was eligible for it 💁🏻‍♀️

Do you have to earn a certain amount to be eligible?

Did you pay it in over the weekend? I’m not sure if they count. I normally pay it in on a weekday and check the next working day

How long ago did you sign up for it? You have to renew every 3 months. If it isn't done on time the allowance is set at 0 until the process is complete.

@AndWhat yeah I did pay it in over the weekend! I was thinking maybe it takes time but I'm just panicking thinking we can't get it 😂

You have to earn a minimum of £140 per week

You say that you worked out 20% and paid that in - do you mean this? don't you pay in 80%?
