Nursery worker at DCs nursery has Covid, what's the likely hood of us getting it?

Hi there

My 15 month old DC attends nursery 4 days per week. We had a call Friday evening to say one of the carers in her bubble has Covid and my DC has to self isolate. The nursery will be closed now for the 10 day period.

What are the chances of our DC getting Covid and what are the chances of us getting it? Has anyone had a similar situation?

Our DC was in contact with the carer all week. They don't wear masks / visors (which we understand but probably increases the risk).

We’re also back to nursery tomorrow after self isolating for 10 days. You’re not in Bristol are you? Grin

Hope back to nursery goes well and germ free Smile

Glad to hear it, @disneymad85! It's such a worry until you get the results back, isn't it? Hope everyone stays well x

@Boomboomtown it really is a worry. And with so many other germs flying around it's hard to know if it's Covid or just a normal bug.

Was certainly glad to have a lunch time walk today in some fresh air after isolating for 10 days!
