Preschool nursery charging 2% fee for paying by childcare voucher! - anyone else had this?

DS is starting at a new preschool next week
I just got the bill for the first term's fees - they are charging £25 extra (about 2%) as I am paying by childcare voucher (the employer salary sacrifice kind)

Has anyone else had this?

They don't have to pay a fee for the vouchers or do any extra admin. The money just goes straight into their bank account

I agree that an admin charge for one full payment (rather than bit by cheque/standing order and perhaps 2 sets of vouchers) is really cheeky. As per my post earlier the scheme can cause more admin for nurseries in the way described before, but in these circumstances cannot really see why they feel the need. Hope you get it sorted out.

let us know what they say

Your card will be marked just like I'm sure mine is after my other thread

I did have a boyfriend who was expelled from preschool once

I have a bizarre bill with a 2 month 344 pound charge on, when ever I query anything they always have an explanation but there have been no govt. payments shown on my bill all year!!(I forget what they are called)

My son's nursery charges an admin fee if parents DON'T pay by vouchers!
