My ds will be starting reception now and to be honest my kid was taken very well care at the nursery and also he bonded quite well with some frds both girl and boys. I have given gifts to teacher and the key worker. But I am confused should I buy gifts and atleast a card for the 5 children I know who bonded well with my kid. Specially there is a little girl who became my child's best friend. I wish to give her a little gift. I am not that great frd with the mother but still wish to give her a gift. Would it look awkward or it should be okay

I haven't heard of gifts being given to friends before. But, it's not wrong to do if, if that's what you want to do.

Or, your son could make his friends a card....
