Nine gummy smiles met me today. What a wonderful business to be in!

I've returned to work for 2 days a week to cook at our nursery. I went into our 'under 2's' room to collect the first-course plates and was met by a wall of gummy smiles sitting at their miniature table on their tiny chairs with rice everywhere.

Made me glad to be alive.

I legged it before the yoghurt appeared, though. I think the staff must inwardly groan when they see rice and yoghurt on the menu.

Pmsl at the yogurt and rice combination! You're right though, it is a fab business to be in and I'm glad you're enjoying being back at work with the little ones!

Thanks, Lazylou.

DS4 is now (nearly) 6 months old and I have a travel cot in Mr Bubble's office which is directly opposite the kitchen. Most of the time he's happy to sit and watch me cook but he also gets taken into the baby room to watch the other littlies from the safety of a bean-bag.

It's good to be back and also good to be able to meet the children and parents that I've missed starting while I've been on maternity leave.

The rice and yoghurt thing is a bit much, isn't it? During the same meal?

Next week? ...Hmmmmm... Couscous and custard?
