Nursery in Scotland - do they all take childcare vouchers?

Hi

Sorry for what may be a stupid question. I went to see a nursery today in Hamilton for my DD to attend in February when I return to work part time. I forgot to ask when I was there but does anyone know if all nurseries accept the childcare vouchers? My DH can apply for them from his work and get them taken off his salary before he is taxed so it wont cost quite as much.

Also, I thought the government brought out something recently to give mums more help going back to work - does that help towards childcare?

Thanks

Lucy

The nursery must be registered with the Care Commission. Best to check with the nursery regarding how to go about paying part of the fees using a voucher.

No idea about anything new recently.

Yes there is Nursery times at the park.
It is great My 2 went there until we moved away.
I was more upset leaving there than anywhere else!
I knew I wouldn't find anywhere like it again.
Well worth a look if it isn't too far out for you
