Ex-employer hasn't paid my childcare vouchers

Not sure if this should be here or in work topics. I left the company at the end of December. They had deducted Childcare Vouchers for £243 from my November salary. They were administering the scheme themselves (within HMRC guidelines). They haven't yet paid them over to the nursery and are now saying they cant find the voucher and they'd like me to hand my pass back in before they'll pay!!! I have reason to suspect that they'll try to get out of paying full-stop. I'm furious. What can I do?

I dont have any advice. Sorry. But do fight for your money.

Hand your pass in and they'll pay? Although they shouldn't mess about with voucher money.

Sorry ... Read that as you have no reason to suspect they won't pay. Anyway, are you supposed to be handing your pass in. If you get late fees from nursery, you could ask them to pay?

Hi. I'm posting the pass to them. There's little chance that they'd pay late fees. I think I'll have a fight on my hands to get them to pay what they owe in the first place.
