Can I ask childcare vouchers for two children if only one goes to nursery?

DS1 goes to nursery, DH receives childcare vouchers for him (£124, which is the maximum he can request). DS2 is 3 months old and doesn't go to nursery.

Can DH request vouchers for DS2, to be used when he starts going to nursery - or to be used to help paying for DS1 nursery fees?

I'm wondering if this is allowed, or if we would have problems for doing that.

Thanks!

It's the maximum per taxpayer not per child so you won't get anymore untaxed anyway.

NickNacks, I have no idea... Thanks a lot.

no, he already has the maximum. You don't get another allowance with more children. Isn't it annoying!
