Mace Montessori Nursery - Chiswick / General Nursery advice

Hi All,

I am new to Mums Net and am hoping this post will actually make it on the site!

My 8 month old daughter is due to start at Mace Montessori Hammersmith in September, and wondered if any of you had any experiences with this nursery?

Also just any personal views of how your babies have done with nurseries. Obviously getting quite anxious as September approaches and just want to hear of other Mummy's views/ ideas/ advice on nursery.

Hi Felicitamam, I am thinking to send my baby to Mace Chiswick as well. Have you heard any feedback from the group? I am really nervous as this is my first child. Thanks

Hello, my 6 month old DD is due to start Mace Green Gables in two weeks and Mace called me today to say they do not have a place for her!! We signed a contract and paid £550 deposit in February so am completely shocked that they have done this.

I'm up and online desperately trying to find a solution. Checked MN nursery page and how strange that this thread should be at the top!

Green Gables was previous an independent nursery and was acquired by Mace a couple of years ago. DS was at Green Gables for 4 years and we had an extremely positive experience. This is just awful and I'm so upset.

If you had signed a contract and paid a deposit can you sue them for breach of contract?

I have to say I have heard very poor things about mace montessori.
