Hi

I am currently reviewing my DD (aged 2.8) childcare arrangment - mainly due to a change in my working hours.

Haven't get enroled her in a pre-school as the day nursery she attends has one plus I didn't want to be packing hr off all the time, as the reason I work part time is to spend time with her.

Her current nursery only accepts children on full days and whilst they will allow me to pick her up early, they won't reduce the price. As I am moving from 3 full days working to 5 part days - my nursery bill will double and I can't justify that.

I am considering finding a childminder and also a pre-school who will fill in the other days/hours, so ideally she will have the best of both.

there is a montessori nursery locally and want to pick your brains on the type of care offered and what children benefit - so pros/cons etc please!
