I'm not sure how it's happened but obviously a problem with their computer records or something.

DS only went one day a week and recently my job changed while He was absent for 3 weeks due to illness and holiday. I wrote to them handing in my notice and asking for the final invoice to be sent via post. I included a cheque for that months fees but was unsure on what the remaining would be so expected the invoice to clear it up.

Since he was only in one day a week, I know exactly what the invoice says so never opened it when it was in his bag once a month. It just got added with the rest in the draw and I wrote a cheque.

I got a message today saying I was very late with the payment (6 weeks) and was being charged late fees. I hadn't noticed that the invoice never came and we've been so busy. They claim it's been sent and so have 2 reminders.

So I opened the last invoice I had and it has a completely different address. So I opened them all and this address has been on the file since August.

The only information about my son is his name so I guess I'm not really worried about this random house having his information although I am concerned over his info on file if they are careless in general.

I actually only owed two weeks after my last cheque but now they have added the late fees too.

I will call in the morning but I'm wondering if I should pay the late fees? I feel it's their fault that the letters were sent somewhere else but I know I should have a) checked my invoices Blush and b) realised I'd not had the final letter through.

Bit foolish to not open the previous invoices; think you'll have to pay up.
