Have just got DS1 a place at a nursery in Crouch End which will cost around £71 per day or £918 for a 3 day week. The nursery seems very good with good facilities but £71 per day seems a lot to me. Anyone know what you would usually pay for a good nursery?

DS's nursery in West London is about £60 a day (8-6) for the under 2s and £49 for the over 2s. Tis a fab nursery, small and friendly. Parents have to provide own lunches, wipes, nappies etc but the nursery provides snacks, breakfast, drinks.

we pay about £55 a day all inclusive at a good nursery in barnet - fees in the area seem to be around that benchmark although i have heard of the £70 mark in finchley. depends i guess!

Pay around £45 per day (although my DD is 3) and it would be around £50 - £55 per day if she was a baby.... (Thats north london) I think around £60 would be deemed high here - although there are a few that charge over £80!
Is it open for longer hours?

I pay, I think £63 per day for an over 2 in Finchley daycare nursery. Doesn't include wipes or nappies. (8.30am -6pm and need to pay extra if want it to open early or stay later).
