Researchers at the University of Aberdeen are inviting volunteers to take part in a research study exploring experiences of non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) testing through the NHS in Scotland.
🔍 NIPT is a follow-up blood test for Down’s syndrome, Edwards’ syndrome and Patau’s syndrome. This is offered if you have a higher chance result from the first screening test.
What is involved?
- 1-hour online interview to hear your thoughts on NIPT 🎙️

If you:
- Are over 18 years old.
- Have had a pregnancy appointment with a midwife since 28th September 2020.
- Were offered NIPT (you don’t have to have accepted the test to take part).
