So for a few months I’ve noticed that when I touch the outside of my mouth it can be tender I’ve had a look in my mouth and noticed only one side there are these flesh coloured little lumps when I touch them they are tender I went to the dentist about it and was prescribed antibiotics but they didn’t help at all , she didn’t seem concerned about it but I’m an over worrier and I will sit and worry what it is over where the lumps are there is a broken tooth that’s due to be removed after I’ve had my baby any one had anything similar I will insert a picture of what the lumps look like. Any replies will be greatly appreciated

Visit a different dentist

Looks like an abcess developed below the broken tooth. I have a broken tooth in the same place and sometimes get an access there.

Is the edge of the broken tooth rubbing on the inside of the lip, OP? I do agree with a previous comment, that it might be worth having a second opinion from another dentist.

@Blodyneighbour the dentist said it was an abscess when they done an xray a couple of weeks ago but the tenderness and lump have never gone away , the tenderness was definitely worse without the antibiotics I don’t even no it’s there tbh only when I look in my mouth the lumps have stayed the same so not sure what it could possibly be

@LoveheartBear the broken tooth doesn’t rub on my lip as I thought it could be that but it doesn’t rub at all I will definitely look for another dentist

@IMakeHisNervesBad i will definitely find another dentist and ask for second opinion thank you for all your replies much appreciated
