Told him about my plans for the sofa...he just laughed, I get nothing but abuse!

Grrr I am drowning! Didnt sleep.much last night. Face aching, fizzing, sneezing the whole works. From the inner corner of my eye down my nose on right side fizzes like crazy working up to a sneeze then...nothing. its so ridiculously sore but no sneeze till 20 mins later.

Not even dressed its too much of an effort. Cant remember the last time I had a cold like this.
And sun is shining to add insult to injury.

Honestly that about to sneeze but doesn’t feeling is the worst, it drives you mad and the soreness just makes it ten times worse. Proper knocked you for six by the sound of it. No sleep on top is just cruel 😱
Don’t blame you one bit for not being dressed, some days it’s a survival situation not a productivity one. Stay wrapped up, keep sipping something warm, Paracetamols and ride it out.
And just typical the sun decides to show up now just to annoy you 🙄! Hope it eases off a bit soon, you deserve a break from it.

Been busy here though , l pulled my finger out and cleaned the kitchen , emptied the fridge freezers and cleaned them and cleaned the downstairs toilet . Cleaned the bathroom too and now the washing going in the tumble . Time for a bit of dinner and a cuppa now, then market and library. Only going to have a cuppa and a bit of toast then l am off , only thing is the damn traffic lights and roadworks that are everywhere! It will probably take me ages to get there hey ho 🙄

Not much to report here other than work, school etc and the weather was good earlier but clouded over with rain tomorrow and Thursday.

Arghhh! This is driving me mad!:
Just dozed off and on all day, fizzing and sneezing. My face feels really sore inside and out, i want to claw it off, its so annoying.

Shame about the weather @DirtyGertiefromno30 hope it improves.

I had a baked pot and tuna/sweetcorn. Ds1 made himself a sarnie earlier (He doesn't like baked pots)

Oh no @FridayNighFeeling your DH hasn't got the lurgy as well, that is the last thing you need. I hope he is not too bad and it passes quickly and he doesn't pass it on bless him .
Sounds like things are just as busy for you with work and school.

Sounds like your body is just forcing you to rest, so try not to fight it.

just sat down , its been a bit manic since Friday ...
Fridaynigh - it was a local thing , in York , and was a lovely lovely day - the weather was lovely , the cafe had Japanese themed food ( which was delicious) and we had a treat of tea and cake later .
Since then , its been a bit full on . We had the DT's yesterday , as it was a training day at nursery , plus DGS as he doesn't start school until tomorrow . There are packing boxes everywhere , as DGS' books and Lego ( well some of it ! ) is boxed up . DD1 is packing up everything in her bedroom . Official exchange is this Friday when she gets the keys . I have washed , dried and ironed 5 pairs of curtains ( 2 pairs are long patio door ones !) , luckily the wether gods have been kind , all got line dried on sunny breezy days . So we are getting ready to go in and get the house ready on Saturday, ready to move the following Saturday . We will be taking what we can , curtains , cleaning stuff , tools etc , so we are gathering those ready too . It's a bit chaotic amongst all the other stuff !
also trying hard to finish off a blanket for WH in the evenings , its getting a bit close to last posting day 😬
Tomorrow is a day off ! Away to my craft club in the morning and just some ironing to do later thank goodness 😀

Goodness busy week for you all @bookbook . Hopefully it will all go off without a hitch and Dd will be moved in before you know it. Moving house is an absolutely nightmare, but exciting for Dd. Hope you have a nice more relaxed day today.
Rained overnight here. Crazy weather.
I started coughing last night but not continuously thank goodness. Still have sore head but hopefully it will ease today.

It sounds like chaos at home with all the packing, but you have done amazingly with those curtains, especially the big patio ones. Thank goodness for the decent weather!
Exciting that DD1 gets the keys Friday, it is all very real now. Good idea taking bits over Saturday to make the move easier. I bet DGS is into everything with the boxes and Lego!
And still working on the blanket too, you have done well. Hope you get it finished in time.
Tomorrow sounds well deserved, craft club and just a bit of ironing. Enjoy the quieter day 🤗

Oh no @Thebookofcarolagain, sounds like it’s trying to come out properly now 😞🤧. Hopefully the coughing stays mild and your head eases off as the day goes on. The weather has been all over the place hasn’t it, never knows what it’s doing 🙄

Head is still sore but not quite as fizzy as yesterday
Doing steam inhalation of olbas and taking cocodamol as cold and flu tabs were useless.
Ds2 went down the street and went to chemist for my meds as well as his. They gave him the paracetamol i ordered after my last lot that they were short of but not the others! Typical! He got coop doritos too for the dip.😄
He bought me a little box of Lindor too bless him.
Making salisbury steaks for tea to try. Fingers crossed.

Oh God you still sound really rough @Thebookofcarolagain, but glad it’s a bit better than yesterday. That fizzy head and sneezing is exhausting. Steam with Olbas should help a bit, and hopefully the Cocodamol is easing things. Cold and flu tabs can be absolutely useless sometimes 😞
Typical chemist though, always something missing 🙄 At least he got the Paracetamol. Your Ds2 is so lovely going for everything and bringing Doritos, dip and Lindor, bless him 🤗

Scratch the salisbury steaks. By the time I had everything prepped I was knackered. Ds2 came in and said he was gonna order takeaway as he didn't think i was gonna be cooking. So against my better judgement I got fish snd chips. Half cold and the batter was a soft gooey mess! Never again! Was from the Kurdish restaurant/chippy , they used to do just takeaway stuff then they opened the rest" but that's too many times I have been disappointed. The kids like thier pizzas though. They got sausages this time and I dont think they were impressed. Waste of ds2s money. Really annoyed I let myself be fooled again. No more rubbush takeaways!

Oh that’s so frustrating @Thebookofcarolagain, especially when you were already knackered. You expect an easy win and it turns up half cold with soggy batter such a let down, and not cheap either 🙄
Don’t blame yourself though, you just needed something quick. Anyone would have done the same. That place has had enough chances now, I’d be done with it too.
Poor Ds2 trying to help and it ends up a disappointment, and if the kids weren’t impressed either, that says it all🤗
And this cold, wet weather just makes it worse. Proper bleurgh.

Well l had the cheese and onion rolls and now l have the most awful wind burps not the bad stuff 🤣 and pain in my upper abdomen 🙄
Taken paracetamols , have got a hottie on me and a lemon and ginger tea ☕.

Morning all.
Woke up early and started coughing so gave up and got up. Had a toasted roll and a cuppa, made sure ds2 was up for work. Dozed off about 9!
Not sure if I feel better or not @DirtyGertiefromno30 🤣 Head is still stuffed and cough is annoying me but will see.
But been out and cut the dead daffs, cut a few pink bells to add to my little jug of spring. Counted 12 tulip buds for so very happy about that. Dead headed and dead leaved my begania and...dum dum dum....found a bunch of snails in it. (it's a perfect over wintering place for them in there) All disposed of, checked my other usual places and found a few more plus a big slug 🤢 They are no more. Knackered now! Pathetic. Going to cut dead flowers off my big sedum if weather holds. Was nice first thing but lots of clouds now. Was raining last pm. First it's coffee time.

Got a message last pm ftom drivers licence peeps. Have to do another photo as they rejected mine cos of my glasses. It didn't say no glasses! I am not legally allowed to drive without them fgs! Arghhhh.

Mums Audiology appointment went very well they have given her new aids and getting new molds done which they will send by post for her .
Mum said straight away 'l can hear you better' bless her . We were there nearly 4 hours today but it is so good that we managed to get her sorted out . Came home and devoured a piece of coffee cake and a cuppa 🤗😋
You have done loads for how you are feeling @Thebookofcarolagain, you are definitely not pathetic. Gardening, flowers and dealing with snails and that slug 🤢 no wonder you are knackered. You still aren't well and it is still lingering with your head and cough, so take it easy now with that coffee and rest up ☕

Looked out the window just in time, it was just starting to rain. Washing in and dry, phew.
