Been to chemist and got half my pills, they didn't have the rest so yet another trip next week!
Weather keeps changing, blue skies, sun, clouds, black clouds, always cold...looks like rain but who.knows. might just pop out and put the seeds in quickly.

Hmm it seems my everlasting flower seed heads were mostly fluff and no seeds. Oh well put a few in with other stuff but not hopeful. But I have seedlings i sowed in 2 pots, there are 3 tiny lupins and a few other seedlings but the tag has vanished so not sure what they are. Who cares! Free plants😄

Weather sounds all over the place, but sneaking the seeds in while you can is a job well done 👍.
Shame about the everlasting seeds, but worth a try , you never know. And mystery seedlings are the best, garden lucky dip! Three Lupins is a result, and the rest are a bonus. Free plants 😁
Got the washing in and put it away had to finish it off on the tumble bur only for half an hour. Sent off 3 sympathy cards and some flowers for them . My best friends sister has died . She was a resident of my Mum's care home and a very long term friend and neighbour of my parents , she had a massive stroke and died on Monday nothing could be fine she couldn't talk,drink, eat or swallow bless her ❤️
Rang them as well .

Sounds like your friends mum would have had a pretty awful quality of life @DirtyGertiefromno30 must be a release for her and her family once they get over the loss.
Fish pie was rather tasty if i say so myself 😄 So many dishes to do! I threw everything in it. And used a few odd bits of fish. 🤣 Considering a cinnamon swirl....

It does sound like that @Thebookofcarolagain, bless her it's so sad, but sometimes a release and peace for her family ,after everything that went on. Still really hard for the family though 💔

Morning all another dreich day here. Raining this morning. I wanted to get out and see if I could clear a drain outside. I never use it but it seems full of crap.

Will have to phone HA on.Mobday as bathroom sink is still taking a while to drain and I cant get at the pipe cos it has a pedestal.😡

The sink sounds a right pain too, those pedestals make it so awkward. Best to ring HA Monday and get them to deal with it.
Washing going in the tumble now that's for sure.
Been to see Mum who was good there thankfully 🤗.

Sun finally came out and it was a bit warmer so I had a look at the drain Its full of muck mainly soil for some reason. Cleaned it out as much as I could but i suspect the drain pipe is much the same. I did run water from the hose down but the pressure is rubbish even through the adaptor. Oh well at least I tried, it is draining very slowly now.

It was absolutely freezing earlier, not as bad now thankfully but not warm.

At least you gave it a good go @Thebookofcarolagain sounds like it was really well clogged up. If it’s draining even slowly now that’s something, probably right about the pipe being full as well though.

Yes sadly it's a blessing for her that she has passed because of the hopelessness of it all , there was nothing anyone could have done the stroke was so massive it was untenable with life 💐

It seems to get warmer late at night/overnight for some reason it's upside down!

Morning all.
Another cloudy day here, sun peeps out occasionally but there are grey clouds everywhere.
Pottery day, washing, kitchen etc.

I noticed i have straw flower seedlings in a tub in my kitchen so all is not lost😁 Have more aquilegia seedlings appearing too, yeah! My poppy seedlings look tiny and rather pathetic which is a shame. Not sure if any will grow properly.
Writing my shopping list...its growing too well!

Put the vacuum over the bedrooms and cleaned the bathroom got some washing on now . I will have to tumble dry it the weather is terrible here , l know l moan about our weather but OMG it's dire here today raining like hell and the wind last night and this morning was awful 😞
Just having a cuppa and crumpets with Marmite on , there's a Marmite thing going on here at the moment 🤣

Yep weather is awful such a pia @DirtyGertiefromno30 Didnt hang washing out as sky was dark but now it's brighter again! Forecast is rain though.
Have hoovered everywhere, gonna mop floors tomorrow.
