Kitchen is done. I can see more of the worktops now! 😄 Cleared up the noticeboard too. Paperwork all taken care of.

Its flipping cold here @DirtyGertiefromno30 wind is still howling and def not sunny now, its started raining. (Which means all the bags of wood will be wet tomorrow 😤)
Had a coffee and HCB after I finished everything. 😋

DH has bought some Dwarf Sunflowers seeds online , he said they were a third of the price online than in the shops !

Hope his seeds behave @DirtyGertiefromno30 unlike mine! Mine were about £1.99 poss less in B&M. Got a good few seeds in them.
Decided to wash down kitchen doors and outside of fridge too. Glutton for punishment😁
Was going to do fish and chips for tea, thought I had breaded fish still in freezer but just frozen plain fish left so we had burgers. Ds2 got a digital probe today, I was thinking of getting one as mine takes for ever to move up in temp. So that's saved me doing it.😄 Same one he uses at work.

You’ve been busy with the kitchen, not the nicest job but feels good once it’s done. Definitely earned that croissant.

That’s handy with the probe, especially if it’s one Ds2 uses at work. Saves you buying one and the slow ones are a right pain. Enjoy that last almond croissant you will have to get some more when you go shopping 😁

Gone to Costco and bought a few bits we are getting low on .
Going to the charity shops now so we will have a good browse 🤗

Bought 4 books and 5 dvds for £3 not a lot there today you have to be there at the right time. Just going home now l will be glad to have a cuppa 🤗

Am sitting waiting on ds1 at McDs .
Been to skip, job centre and did the shopping, then bottle bank (forgot to take them with bags of wood) phew! just to get home and put it all away. Oh joy.
Was very good and didn't get any plants despite them having gorgeous lillies🤣🤣
Sunny but fierce wind here and at home too but dark clouds gathering. Hope we get home to no rain.

We got 5 dvds for a pound . The BBC version of King Lear , The Fisher King , Jane Austen book club , The Book Thief and Northanger Abbey .

I wasn't in McDs @DirtyGertiefromno30 i dont go there plus they have Nescafe coffee, I haven't knowingly bought anything Nestlé for 40 years. I don't stop ds's though it thier choice. Am now sitting down with coffee and meds, my back is complaining loudly.

That's a good mix of dvds, who is in King Lear? (Nosey bugger) I have watched the Fisher King years ago, its really good. The Book Thief is supposed to be good too.

I got 2 bies into my roll and realised it tasted funny. Finally found 2 teeny tiny bits of mould...damm. should have checked it first. Oh well had the inside filling and a bag of crisps.
Car is booked in next week, on ds2s birthday! Think i will use the car pressure wash at Morrisons on way home tomorrow see if it solves the beeper, car needs a clean anyways. . If not mech will sort it.

Having a cuppa and I git sone pistachio truffles to try. Not sure if I like them all that much🤣 I love pistachio flavoured stuff but all this "Dubai" style stuff seems rubbish.

Oh and I managed to nab more pork shoulder steaks in Aldi. Not such a big box but 6. Sooo good

Just bought the washing in and put it in the tumble to finish . It's so cold it's only 5c and the wind makes it feel like 2C so it will never dry .

Oh yes it's the 1982 version of King Lear , Brenda Blethyn, Sir Michael Holden, Micheal Kitchen, Penelope Wiltern and Anton Lesser in it . I know it's probably brilliant but it's a sad ending and l am not in the right frame if mind to watch it ATM 😏

Sitting in hosp again. Part of the road was closed down so huge diversion on the way. But only about 2 mins late. Ds1 only just got called so was fine. Luckily as I was trawling car park I saw someone going to thier car so nabbed thier space. Otherwise would have been screwed for a space again.
Sunny and wind not so fierce today so that's good.

Washed car, useless power hose! Think i paid extra for nothing. But rear sensor wasn't beeping like crazy this morning! It seems fine now so fingers crossed.

Nice to see a few lambs in the fields and swathes of daffs along roadsides.
Am aching and knackered but he prob wont need to go back for 2 months. (But I do!)
