Yes it's that time again another thread ! 😁

Washing is on, sunflowers are tied to small canes, fingers crossed. Seedlings are out. Have bagged up the pile of wood i left yesterday as couldn't bend any more. Have 5 bags so far! Just one branch to saw up plus the old stuff to sort out. I kept the longer straighter branches just in case i can use them, have smaller bits cut up to maybe make a log pile for critters. Got some thinner branchy branches to use as supports for my dahlias
It's coffee time and let my back stop complaining for a bit then crack on.
Sun is coming and going cos of clouds, but its not really cold.

Its done! 10 bags of wood! There's a couple of bits on the tree that need to come off but that can wait for ds2. Oh my back is broken 😁
Coffee and cocodamol time, got heat pad on too. Never moving again.

You’ve done loads today @Thebookofcarolagain, ten bags of wood is a big job so no wonder your back is complaining 😱. You did right stopping yesterday and finishing it today.
Sunflowers are sorted, and it’s lovely you’ve kept bits for supports and a little log pile for the little critters 😁
Now sit with your coffee, heat pad on and let the Cocodamol work. You’ve earned a proper rest. That washing can wait.
Leave the last bits on the tree for your Ds2 or tomorrow. That’s not for today after all that you have done already 👏
Been to see Mum who was in a foul mood but fine in herself lol . She was much happier when we left her thankfully.
Still sunny here so l will get the washing in soon .
Just had some crumpets for dinner and a nice cuppa .

Hung washing.
Went out potted on more sunflower seedlings and staked them. I dont know how they got so leggy so quickly, too big for seed trays. Have left them all outside to sink or swim. Also potted on nasturtium seedlings, getting big too. Sowed more aquilegias in the seed tray. All seedling brought back inside as i am not going out there again! I will find something else i HAVE to do 😁😁 ( I need to sweep the path round the house but that can wait...)
Now I need to add wooden kitchen skewers to shopping list 🤣🤣 Another bag of compost emptied!

I made bacon and eggs butties for ds2 and I before he went to work. Kitchen is tidy, dishes done and so am I.😁

Sunflowers shoot up so fast, staking them and getting them outside is a good move. Nasturtiums will love it too. Fingers crossed for the Aquilegias 🤞
Had to laugh at not going out there again, while already thinking of the next job , the path can wait for a bit now behave lol 🤣

Will see if ds1 will come to skip with bags of wood later. Might summon up the energy to sweep out back and side of house and sort out my plastic pots into some semblance of tidy🤣
My lupins out front are growing so will put eggshells down to deter the damm slugs and snails.

Have hoovered round and hung washing but that's it. In very lazy mood for inside work🤣 Too cold to be outside.

Well my motivation has gone along with the sun tbh @Thebookofcarolagain.
Also my sister went to see Mum and she couldn't get her to eat or drink a thing and she was flat out despite not having extra Oramorph now .
Made me a bit down tbh 😭.
Just watching TV and ate a while bar of chocolate.

I have pork shoulder steaks in oven for tea, that's the last of them from freezer. Just got pots to prepare.

Tea was definately delicious @DirtyGertiefromno30. I really love those long cooked pork steaks. Must hunt them out again. Definately recommended. Had a ton of veg with it too. Have an almond croissant in the oven, sermed a shsme to waste it when it was on😉😋
I gave in and put heating on i was frozen.

Evening from a babysitting grandma .
Just sat down after putting the twins to bed - they were out like a light , bless them .
Reading all the posts , but I am a tweak tired tbh . Catching up from late night Saturday I guess . I am , however, getting a refund on my ticket. ,so thats something !
I pottered yesterday and sowed seeds. And then realised I didnt have any of my favourite cherry tomato . So today , DH and I popped to the local garden centre . I may have come out with more than s packet of seeds 😂. This afternoon , we tidied the garden shed and I got rid of a load of tangled , holey netting , so now we can find things again !
Not much else happening , just plodding on.

Oh I wish I had room for growing toms from seeds. May get a couple of plants once they are on sale. Used to grow them and peppers and small cucumbers in front of patio doors at last house. Fess up what did you buy at garden centre?? Wish I had a shed too 🤣🤣

Been to see Mum who was much more alert today . We went early to try to catch her awake and it worked. So l washed and dried her hair which she loved bless her .
Came home earlier than usual so been around the market , bought some Garibaldi bisks and some chocolate 😁
Popped to the library to change my books 😊
Just having a cuppa and toast for dinner .
Raining here washing in the dryer. Windy as hell too what a waste of all that wind l could have dried linefuls 🤣
