Yes it's that time again another thread ! 😁

Been out and planted my plant and moved a couple of others that would block other plants. I potted up half a dozen sunflower seedlings into a big pot and buried them halfway. Will see if that helps them grow straighter. I've either killed them or cured them 🤣 I have others i left but I think they need to go into bigger pots and do the same.
Planted my tiny sedum in gravel. Watered everything lightly as its all dry after a few days of sun!

Sounds like a lovely little potter in the garden. The sunflowers made me smile—burying them deeper might just do the trick, so fingers crossed 🤣
Your sedum should love the gravel, and everything probably needed that water after the sun.

Made tandoori chicken for tea just to try it. Not with a proper tandoor or anything just marinated and then grilled. Was ok but not something I would rush to make again. But gotta try things.

I now have an apple tree half the size! Ds2 came out in his pjs when i was trimming the branches on the ground and did the tree for me. One branch to go but need to cut up all the branches out the way first. Chain saw is a bit of a sticker but we got there.
Coffee and bun before I got back out to let it cool down a bit.

Not much to report here. 5 work days then 2 weeks off. Sun has been out more which make such a difference to mood - boys will be doing first BBQ of the year later

Been down to London for s Hugathon today , but the train has been badly delayed due to a signals failure ( caused by cable theft ! 😡) so not due home til midnight. A bit weary , a d would like mu bed now !

Your weather is at least dry, which is half the battle when you’ve got those jobs to get through. You’ve got a fair bit on today with the wood and the Sunflowers take it easy on your back and shoulders. Even just doing one thing gets the ball rolling 🤗
Shame about the Aquilegia not sprouting, but good job you found last year’s seeds. They might surprise you yet. Gardening is always a bit of trial and error isn’t it.
I’m with you on the motivation front, it’s one of those days where it takes a push. Maybe a cuppa first, then tackle a small bit and go from there.
