Apple muffins (not huge muffins but big enough for us) done. There's 2 larger larger ones cos I couldn't get all the mix in one tin and they spread a bit. 🤣 (I got rid of my other deep tin, I need a new one, forgot to get it last week.).
Coffee then banana ones..fingers crossed.

Sounds like you’ve had a proper busy day ,wrestling the bed counts as a workout 🤣 Fresh sheets make it so worth it though.
Muffins are a great shout , apple done and banana next, very productive! The bigger, wonky ones are always the best . They look delicious well done 😋

Been to see Mum who wasn't very good first off. She was comatosed almost l think it's too much Oramorph, anyway had a word with the staff and they are going to ask the Dr to put the Oramorph to prn when needed . She's just not able to eat it drink or even open her eyes . If she was dying l wouldn't say anything but once the Oramorph wore off she ate and drank and talked like hell with us . So something is not right . I said to them if she's in pain then give it to her but otherwise dint because we/she can't enjoy our visits with her anymore because of the Oramorph .

Banana buns are made, have cooked mince for tomorrow. Was gonna have it tonight in pastry but forgot to take the damm pastry out! Kitchen cleaned up, why do I put myself through this? 🤣🤣

You’re absolutely right @Thebookofcarolagainno point being so wiped out you can’t even have a proper chat. It’s about quality, not just getting through the day.
And honestly, you’ve done loads! Banana buns baked, mince ready for tomorrow, kitchen sorted… that’s a full on productive day. The pastry thing is so typical thoughalways the one thing you forget 🤣 but at least it’s ready for tomorrow now.
Burgers for tea is a great shout easy, no stress. And I don’t blame you one bit for saying you’re done cooking!
Definitely time to put your feet up and enjoy that glass of wine 🍷 you’ve earned every sip

No @DirtyGertiefromno30 you did the right thing. Unless she needs it theres no point to the oramorph. It's not like she needs a high dose to keep on top of the pain continually. If or when that's necessary it's a different story. But for now she should be enjoying life not sleeping through it.
Am all tucked up on the sofa. Had to give in and put brufen gel on my knee. Its been a pia last few days. Think it's this damm weather. My back is the same. Have heat pad on, its great, ds1 did me a good thing getting it for my Xmas (Saves heating so bonus🤣)
Half the buns are in freezer. Had an apple one with cuppa at teatime. Definately yummy.
Might pop onto skyrim for a bit of a pottery.

Oh thank you for seeing it through your eyes @Thebookofcarolagain 🤗 and telling me what you think . I agree with you on that, no point knocking Mum out with oramorph if she doesn’t actually need it. Better she’s comfortable and awake enough to enjoy things while she can. You’ve got a sensible way of looking at it.
Sounds like you’ve had a proper managing the aches day , you poor thing.This weather does no favours at all knees, backs, everything just flares up. Good shout with the brufen gel and heat pad though, honestly those heat pads are lifesavers, and bonus points for saving on the heating 🤣!

Same here @DirtyGertiefromno30 but a bit cloudy now. Glad your mum is better today.
Have been out in garden. I have more daff bulbs, one tulip bulb but some good tulips coming on. Mascari too Gave the beds a sprinkle of water to see if any seeds will appear 😁 Then I attacked the stupid trees. Took branches off the smaller one that tries to kill me every time I go past by jabbing me in the head and a few off the big apple tree. Took all the crossing over branches out but got stuck halfway through a bigger branch, my arms just gave up so ds2 came and cut it closer to tree for me. He was cleaning ceiling tiles last night so his arms are knackered too bless him. I need a better saw for the bigger branches we need to cut down. Damm the HA, i will probably never use it again. . Will cut up the branches later and use some for staking plants.
Thought it was gonna rain just before we finished, it felt very damp and got very cloudy. It's not cold though I have back door open 😯

Sounds like you’ve had a really productive afternoon there @Thebookofcarolagain 💪🌱. even if your arms are feeling it now! The garden must be starting to look lovely with the Daffs, Tulips and Muscari all coming through, such a nice sign Spring’s properly on the way.
That tree sounds like a right menace 🤣 no wonder you went after it! Fair play getting stuck into the pruning though, especially tackling the crossing branches, that’ll do for it 🤣. Good job Ds2 was on hand to finish it off (even with his poor aching arms from last night bless him!).
Typical isn’t it, thinking you might need a better saw but knowing it’ll probably only get used once thanks to the HA 🙄 still, at least you’ve got plenty of branches to reuse for staking, always feels good when nothing goes to waste.
Hope you manage a bit of a sit down later after all that, you’ve definitely earned it 😊.

The mince pie actually turned out yummy. I had half the pastry left so made 2 jam 'pasties' to put in freezer.

Have ordered a mini chain saw! Friend recommended one to me. Hopefully can use it on a sleeper length to cut it to size too.

Been busy , washing on the line , shopping done , cleaned the fridge freezers and now going to put the hoover over.

Am sitting outside Morrisons waiting for ds2. Shopping done, didn't get much thank goodness but spent enough. A bag of compost and a plant fell in my trolley somehow! 🤣 Well I dont have anything yellow in bottom bed so what was i to do????
Ds2 is getting his cheese and some proper baking potatoes for me. The ones in aldi were a joke. Tiny things, how they class them as baking pots is a mystery.
Put wash on earlier so that's waiting for me when I get home.
Its just a light weight mini saw @DirtyGertiefromno30 so shouldn't be any trouble.

Love how the compost and plant just fell into the trolley @Thebookofcarolagain happens to the best of us 🤣! And you’re absolutely right, you can’t have a gap with no yellow in the bottom bed, that would never do 🌼
Hope Ds2 picks you up some proper big baking pots, nothing worse than trying to make a decent jacket spud and ending up with a mouthful 🙄
At least you were good with the rest of the shop though, even if it still somehow adds up 🤣 it always does doesn’t it. Nice feeling knowing the washing’s already on too, one less job when you get in.
And that little saw sounds perfect, just enough to tackle the annoying bits without any faff. You’ll be out there in the garden again before you know it!

Been busy here, 2 loads of washing from changing the beds today all dried in the sun ☀️ 😁. Hoovered and dusted upstairs and down bathroom cleaned and l am sat now having a cuppa 😁

Ds2 difnt get any potatoes @DirtyGertiefromno30 . He said they were all much the same as Aldi and the bigger baking pots were all soft. 😡
Washing hung up and had a coffee and apple bun when I got home after we put the shopping away. Need to go out and plant my new plant but stuck on sofa 😁😁
I put all my seedlings outside this morning, I can see my worktop! Shame I have to bring them all in again. 😄 Need to decide where everything is going, might do it all tomorrow. Still a lot of blank compost in some tubs, maybe they aren't gonna grow.

Need to do some veg for tea, its never ending! 😄

Finished the washing here and put it away . All dry 😁it's smashing to get it out in the sun. Tired out now though. Cuppa and a couple of tea cakes for tea l think 🤔😊

I got hot cross buns in Aldi @DirtyGertiefromno30 , good gravy they are so small these days. I just got original ones and skipped all the flavoured ones. Tbh I got 2 more in the pack than the bigger flavoured ones so really shouldn't complain.😁
We finished the mince pie for tea and I am having a cuppa and HCB for pud. 😄
Seedlings are all in. There goes the worktop by the window 🤣
Gonna do dishes, shower then chill for the night.

My chain oil was supposed to come today for chain saw but nothing so far. It's a 500ml bottle which will last forever but it was also £5 for a 50 ml bottle, different make but this one has very good reviews.

Sounds like a cosy evening @@Thebookofcarilagain. HCBs are definitely shrinking, but extra in the pack helps .
