Moving to Shrewsbury

We are looking to move to Shrewsbury, but I do not know which areas are nice and which are rough… if any. We always visit the town but we have no idea on each area and where’s best to buy a house to raise children. Any advice is much appreciated

There are lots of nice places depends on whether you want walking distance to town or are bothered about parking and traffic. Sutton Farm is nice and can just about walk into town. Near hosp the traffic is more an issue. Abbey foregate also great

Thank you very much. We are looking for a walking distance into town if possible. We have dogs so we will want to walk them into town and back so ideally we want to buy a house in an area within walking distance that’s not to expensive.

We don't like there but have family who do? Do you also have to look at flood risk when buying a house?

Really do look very carefully at flood risk
