I've been searching all around the Internet for some time, but I've never been able to find a story like mine.
I told my nearest and dearest best BFF in the whole world that my hubby and I was finally trying to make our first baby. My friend reacted with a bit of disappointment and couldn't understand what was so appealing to me about becoming a mother. I simply told her that my heart was ready. We talked a lot about it and how we would make sure our friendship wouldn't be destroyed. She then broke down crying and telling me that she could never see herself having kids. Her tears was not her own grief, but because she was so sad of diaspointing me and her family with not having kids. I told her she should never fell bad about it and our talk ended on a good note.
5 weeks later she calls me up, telling me that she is pregnant! My reaction was shock and happiness. Her whole world had turned upside down and from the moment she saw the two lines she wanted to me a mother. I was honest with her from the beginning that I had a deep jealousi in the shadow of my happiness, and she understood very well.
I've been by her side every step of the way, and I'm still there for her and her beautiful baby girl who's now 7 months old. But I myself have not become pregnant yet, and it's so tough to see her living my dream.
She is my best friend and I love her, but I truly cannot forgive her for having a child before me when she didn't even want to. My negative feelings only come around when I'm alone. But when I hold her baby.. oh, I so wish that was my baby.
