New here of course. Not been on a forum for a while but it always used to be frowned upon to start posting without introducing yourself! 😂

So hello everyone

Hi @RollingHills1 ! Don't be shy about jumping in and posting. Many posters frequently name change here for privacy, so you won't stick out as a new name.

Hello! I've been on Mumsnet years but name change all the time.

Whatever you do on this forum someone will disapprove. 😅

Thanks that's reassurring! Yes, I just noticed that it doesn't show how many posts you've made does it? In other forums it can feel like you have to build up a bunch of posts before anyone will take you seriously!

You can search for all someone's posts, but it will only show posts on the username you are searching, so it isn't a guide to how long someone has been here.

As a quick guide, the AIBU (am I being unreasonable) topic is the most popular topic here, but it can be quite brutal at times! Also sometimes picked up by the tabloids, so don't post anything too identifying. As a general rule, the more niche the topic, the gentler it is.

Thanks all, very helpful

Hello, newbie here too, DD 8, DS 4.
I've lurked for the past few weeks so I know a bit about the jargon now :-)
