how to hide a topic

not actually a newbie but i only recently read that a whole topic can be hidden. But how to do it? I can see how to follow a topic, but not how to hide it.
Using my laptop, not the mobile version.

Have you got it figured yet @Brefugee? I don't know either but want to hide the sex topic.
