Hi

Due to have twins in May feeling rather nervous. I have two other children. They will be 3 and 11 months when the babies are born. I'm a single mum now (partner walked out after we found out we was expecting) any tips on having 3 under a year or 4 under 3 will be great.

So sorry that you didn't get any replies @Jade2003

Can't believe that your exP walked out. Hope you've applied for Maintanance.

A couple of sections on here might help. The Multiple Birth Section, the Lone Parents Section and I think there's a larger familiar section. They should all be under "Being a Parent".

Have you had a loon at the Pregnancy section yet? There's usually a group for the month you're due in here somewhere Flowers

This isn't so much of a large family tip as a short term aid, but it might be worth seeing if a volunteer from Homestart could come and help out a few hours a week for your first couple of months. The ones around here are great.

Also, if you possibly can get out (hard ask I know!), sometimes toddler groups are run by ladies who are very happy to cuddle babies and ready to older toddlers while you have a sit down and a cup of tea.

Hello

Thank you for both for your advice.

I been away for a bit whilst I sorted myself and my children out.

I have found a small support group not to far from me who been very supportive with my situation.

Have to say I was nervous what they would think about my situation but didn't bat an eyelid.
