Hey everyone, I have a beautiful newborn boy who turned 1 month yesterday. He's EBF but the last couple days I've noticed he's now struggling to poop whereas he was pooping before after every feed.
He has also been farting so much the past week but also struggling to get them out, it disturbed his sleep so I bought gripe water and gave him some yesterday. The thing is he's always burped easily but with farts ill be changing his nappy and he does a lot im guessing because I'm lifting his legs.
When he was pooping he would sometimes do really small poops, still soft but the smallest amount, no bigger than a chocolate button.
Yesterday he done a large poop filled the whole nappy but he really struggled to do it, didn't cry though. Today is the same, he's struggling but hasn't popped Yet.
Could the gripe water be causing him to now have issues pooping ??
Is the small amounts of poops he sometimes does a problem ??
Baby still wees and feeds normal, no temp either.
