Safety gate for kids - at what age did you remove yours from stairs?

Just what it says in the title... :)

2.5 years....when they could confidently go up and down stairs

1st child never had one. Lived in a flat until he was 2yr 2m and was confident on stairs already when we moved to a house. DS2 maybe was 18m-2yrs

Thank you all, mines 2.5 so I guess I might get rid of mine sometime soon
