Lie flat car seat advice

Hi
I wondered if anyone has any advice on lie flat or nearly lie flat car seats for newborn babies, I seem to be going round in circles trying to work out what we should do. I am not keen on a sideways carseat, so have narrowed it down to the kiddy evol, the britex isofix I size or the cybex cloud. I read on a previous post that the manufacturer of the kiddy evol have gone out of business, so I may avoid that in case we need any product support ect.

What I am really keen is just to not have a newborn too upright in car. We won't travel anywhere in the car except for back from the hospital for the first few weeks and after that will take breaks when we do travel, so it won't need to be completely flat in the car. However the near lie flat in car features of the britex and cybex seats appeal. I have a friend who loved her cybex cloud, but have read a review saying that with the cybex cloud, once babies are too large for the newborn inlay, then cannot be reclined very far when in the car and the reviewer was concerned her baby's head might fall forward. With the britex I really like that it has a 5 point harness, but I have read a few reviews saying the harness is very fiddly and difficult to operate. The cybex cloud only has a 3 point harness, which I thought was less safe, but it seems to have excellent safety reviews. With the cybex it is good that we could reuse the base for a extended rear facing seat at 1 year, whereas with britex we would only use the base for year or so, which seems a waste. Also the Cybex cloud is compatible with our buggy of choice (the buggerboo indie) whereas the britax is not. However in practice I may buy a carrycot too anyway, as we will probably be walking with the baby in the buggy a lot and I read that the cybex cloud is still not completely lie flat even when out of the car (I am not sure how true this is and have emailed Cybex to enquire about this). Therefore I may buy separate carry cot anyway and the britex is still in the running.

Has anyone used either seat and have you any advice? Thank you so much. Normally I would just go to a shop to try them out, but as pregnant I am being strict about social distancing at the moment, so avoiding unnecessary shopping trips.
