Relocation

Hi Mums, My family will be relocating to Either Mid-Cheshire or Lancashire later in the year. DH has 2 offers and we are yet to decide on where to live. I will appreciate if I can get help regarding a good location suitable for raising kids, School , and easy commute to either Leighton or Preston.

Depending what your looking for some nice areas around Preston are Kirkham, Wrea Green, Garstang, Lytham St Anne’s all within commuting distance. I’m from Preston and now live in Kirkham, it’s a lovely town, very big community spirit and some very good primary schools. There is a high school but also others within travelling distance too. It also has a Grammar school if you wanted to pay private. Lytham is also lovely and on the sea. I don’t know much about the primary schools but one of its high schools is a feeder school for my children’s and has a good reputation.
