hello,
I have been off mums net for several years, can someone tell me how to start a thread? I've come back on mums net because I need to talk anonymously and freely about problematic shit.

Hi @efamcg112 - I'd suggest starting a new thread in the pregnancy topic as this is an old thread:

www.mumsnet.com/talk/pregnancy

I shouldn't think any tiny amount of smoke you may have come into contact with is anything to worry about, though. If he comes round again, tell him to smoke outside, away from your windows.

Hello, I’m new here and would like some advice please, I’ve previously had a chemical pregnancy in January and have just found out I’m pregnant again… I think.

I started spotting on the 17/03 up until the 21/03 which was brown discharge.. I took a couple of FRER test which was a BFN.. I had no idea when I was due on as I ovulated later in my cycle as I started tracking it… I took a test yesterday on the 23/03 which was BFP (shocked) since yesterday I’ve been having craps, bloating and constant twinges in my right side? Am I having another chemical pregnancy.. I’m not spotting as yet, but I’m really not hopeful due to previous cramps and pains in my sides.

i just don’t know if the spotting before hand is a bad sign as every doctor I see said spotting is NOT normal… Please someone give reassurance :( I think the spotting was too late for my cycle as i usually only have a 28 day one… thanks is advance.

Apple I thought I made my own thread!

mumof2littleguys · 27/03/2023 16:41

My son’s friends mum in constantly messaging my husband to come out for a drink. It is with other people around. But I’m finding the messaging is more frequent and she is not messaging me. Am I being unreasonable?

Ccs18x · 27/04/2023 00:42

Positive or negative?? My periods have always been very regular (usually twice a month) but this time I’ve noticed it’s been a bit longer so just taken a test just in case. Does this look positive or negative? I feel like it’s very faint and I can only see half of the “pregnant” line

Hi @Ccs18x

I'd suggest starting a new thread in the conception topic as this is an old thread which no one is likely to see. Use 'start a new thread' in the topic below.

www.mumsnet.com/talk/conception

I'm struggling to see a line, to be honest, but the most experienced line-spotters will be found in the topic I have linked. Hoping it works out!

PlaitBilledDuckyPuss · 28/04/2023 07:32

Hi @Archieboo20 - This is an old thread so you are unlikely to get replies. You need to start a new thread - I should think the 'parenting' topic is the best place for you to get advice. Follow the link and choose 'start new thread'

Hi, I'm finally about to be an aunt. I have very little experience with babies. What's a good gift for first time new parents? Thanks in advance xx

Hiya I’m needing advice on a situation

I’ve currently found out I’m pregnant with my third child , my other children are 3 & 1 but the problem is my partner doesn’t want this baby he’s telling me I have to get abortion or he will leave me I don’t like being force to do something that I’ll have to live with , I don’t want to get abortion because I’m very gentle nature I love my children do anything for them even if I do it on my own , I understand he has a say in this but yes he allowed to have a opinion but I can’t force him to stay but he can’t force me to get abortion as it’s my body if I was to get rid of baby I would feel forever guilty about it , our relationship isn’t perfect so I think either way our relationship might not last , by him forcing me to get abortion I would not feel the same as before if it went through with it , should
i do what’s best for me ?

Try starting a new thread in relationships @DC220302 :

In my opinion, you definitely should not have an abortion if it isn't what you want. Let him leave - as you say, this is a no win situation for your relationship.

Sample was drawn out from my placenta and also blood samples for QF-PCR & ARRAY-SNP testing . And they were talking about possible termination of the pregnancy.

I have two girls one is 5 and second is 9 - therefore I’m looking for decent schools preferably outstanding schools (primary and secondary schools) nearby

I work in London twice a week so can’t have commute time more than an hour 15 minutes

I live in MK at the moment.

ill really appreciate any inputs and ideas
