Relocating to Morpeth area - Looking for advice

Hoping you can help.

I am relocating to the Morpeth area with my daughter and I had a couple of questions:

1. What are the best schools in Morpeth? I have been informed there are spaces in Abbeyfields and Morpeth First School, does anybody know if one is better than the other for various things or if I should be reaching out to other schools as well?

1. Which areas are the nicest surrounding Morpeth, and are there any to avoid? I have seen a couple of properties in Longhirst, does anybody have any opinions on this area?

I don't really know about the schools but Longhorsley and Longframlington are both lovely places just north of Morpeth.
