Sex - how often?

I'm new to this and it's amazing to discover this so thank you.

I'm curious, we have 2 children aged 15 and 12. My husband is in his early
50's and I am 45. We cannot go over 3 days without having sex. It's not expected, it just happens naturally and we really enjoy it. We both work and our kids are our world as we are to each other. We've been married 19 years and the sex gets better. So, my question is 1) am I lucky? And 2) is this the same for all couples of similar circumstances? Just curious and thank you :0)

Well obviously not every couple is the same, I'm sure you know that. If you're happy with your arrangement crack on. Not sure what the point of posting was though if I'm honest...

Oh and welcome to mumsnet op. 😁

Err, good for you OP Hmm.

Unsurprisingly, my opinion is 1) yes you’re lucky, and 2) its highly unlikely that every couple in your circumstances are the same.

When you go through the menopause everything will change. Since I started the menopause I'd rather drink poison than have sex with anyone.
It sounds quite a lot but everyone is different and if it makes you both happy then that's brilliant.

Well it's amazing the sex life hasn't died. I'm jealous lol
Me and DP have been together 7 years and he's came before my pants even come down so I tell him not bother anymore 😴
Make the most of it !! X
