Gift for Mum and Baby??

Hi, I've been reading through some threads but decided to just become a member and start one myself because reading tips from back in 2001 seemed a little out of date.

I have a very good friend that is now 12 weeks (she sent me her scan and i'm broody x100000) and although a little premature I like to be prepared and want to get a gift to give her a couple weeks before her due date. I would love it to be focused more on her because she will be swamped with gifts for the baby. Can anyone help with recommendations? What was really valuable or a gift that unexpectedly was more helpful/appreciated than you thought it would be for jut before and after you had baby? The more ideas the better!!

Dressing gown and slippers

Not necessarily for mum, but I was gifted a little medical box. Shuffle babe vapour rub, calpol vapour plug in, calpol etc it’s stuff I hadn’t thought about until gifted!
No one has bought me anything so I wouldn’t know 😂

I was gifted a lovely Pamper Pack which I think was from Boots. It had slippers, candles, relaxing bath salts and essential oils, and creams for sore areas for after the birth.
