Hello, wonder if anyone has experienced this - dd has had friend since school. Friend has recently stopped talking to dd and has been very nasty. Dd saw "friend" whilst out and asked her why she was being like this, she put her hand on her arm to stop her walking away and now "friend" says she has called Police and reported her for assault! Dd is distraught, I know she's my Dd but she wouldn't hurt a fly.

How old are they? Have the Police spoken to your DD yet?

Ks24 · 10/08/2019 23:53

Both in 20s and no.

Sorry I've not been back before. How's your DD doing now?

Ks24 · 17/08/2019 23:26

She's still upset but has decided not to have any contact with her at all . Thank you.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the police doing anything.

It could be so many different things that has caused the fall out. A misunderstanding. Somebody telling the friend your dd has said or some something etc.

If it was my dd, I’d suggest to get that she leaves it now and doesn’t inflame the situation, Not that she’s done anything wrong but it’s clear the other girl doesn’t want to talk about it now.

Police have now contacted dd to ask her to come in to see them over the weekend! I'm absolutely furious at this other girl and v worried for my dd.
