Baby gifting/Baby shower

Hi mums,

A close friend of mine is due in a few weeks and I'm really struggling with what gift to get her. Does anyone else find this tricky? Help!

what's your budget OP? a monthly nappy subscription would have been fab when i had my dc x

Can never have enough muslins, bibs, sleepsuits!

U get loads of baby clothes so something different would be nice.

Ewan the dream sheep or Sophie the giraffe teething toy would be good.

If you go for clothes buy 6-9 months and something that cld be used at any time of the year. I got unite a few 0-3 that she was only in for about 8 weeks and absolutely loads of 3-6, some of it didn't even get on some stuff only worn once or twice.

Thanks for your help, it really is appreciated! It's really hard, as I want to get her something useful but also something special or unique that she's not already going to get. Should I be buying for baby or for mum? Or both?!
